Molly Huddle came through Notre Dame University as a strong cross country and track runner. Cross country is one of her strengths. As a professional athletes, Molly Huddle continues to support the sport of cross country with her appearances at the USA XC Champs.
You are now in your third week of cross country training this summer. You should start feeling like you are getting the hang of it. If you are a college athlete, make sure you add thirty minute morning runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Wednesday: Warm up, 40-45 minutes easy running, three times 150 meters, cool down.
Keep the pace relaxed, at the start, and consider picking it up with ten-fifteen minutes to go.
On your strideouts, work on having some good turnover, but keep the stride outs at a good pace.
Cool down whether it is warm out or not. Remember to drink lots of water afterwards and get out of your wet clothes.
